The Ritz Carlton is equipped with the latest in fire prevention and alarm systems and is a fully sprinklered building. Included in this system are smoke detectors which are located in every guest and meeting room, which when activated will alert the security department by way of an alarm panel. Should one of these alarms sound, a security officer and an engineer will be dispatched to the guestroom/meeting room to ascertain and verify the cause of the alarm. During the interim, the security control officer will call the affected guestroom/meeting room to check the status of the alarm with the occupant.
The fire department is the first responder to any emergency and will be on site within 3 minutes.
There are 2 defibrillators on property. One is located on the ground level in the Loss Prevention office (behind the kitchen-located thru the door by Tiburon 1 ballroom). The second is located on the lobby level at the guest reception desk. The Ritz-Carlton staff at the pool, Ritz Kids and fitness center are CPR certified.
